Admirals Set 2011-12 Promo Schedule

Milwaukee, WI-The Milwaukee Admirals set their 2011-12 promotional schedule today which features three concerts, presidential bobbleheads, talking bottle openers, and many other giveaways and entertainment which have been the hallmarks of the team's game presentation.

The Admirals Concert Series highlights the team's promotions with three concerts already booked, including two country shows. Craig Morgan will kick off the Series with a post-game show after the team's game on Saturday, October 29 against the Grand Rapids Griffins. On January 27th Grammy Award winning artist Dierks Bentley will hit the stage after the Ads host the Chicago Wolves. Both of the country shows are presented by FM106 and Coors Light. Lee Jeans, Toyota, Coors Lights and Time Warner Cable will present Classic Rock pioneers Styx for a triumphant return to the Bradley Center following the team's game against the Rockford IceHogs on March 3.

All of the shows in the Admirals Concert series are free to attend with a game ticket. Prices for these games are $24, $20, $18, $17, which is $1 more per ticket than regular games.

Topping the list of giveaways this season are three bobblehead nights, starting with a bobblehead of Admirals defenseman Scott Ford for the first 5,000 fans on January 14th, courtesy of Lee Jeans. In honor of George Washington's 280th birthday, the first 5,000 fans to the game on February 12th will take home a bobblehead of our first president, sponsored by US Bank. The final bobblehead of the year will feature the likeness of former Admirals coach and player Claude Noel to the first 5,000 on March 23rd. Noel, the current coach of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets, led the Ads to the Calder Cup Title in 2004.

The Ads are also featuring a number of new promotional giveaways this year, including a bottle opener of Admirals play-by-play broadcaster Aaron Sims that plays one of his famous goal calls when used, for the first 1,500 fans. The team will also give out schedule pens from Potawatomi Bingo Casino for the first 10,000 on October 29th, Old Wisconsin Sausage Clappers (3,500) on November 18th, Admirals/Brewers Holiday Ornaments (5,000) on December 9th, Children's Hospital FanFans for the first 2,500 14 and under on January 15th, and all fans in attendance on March 30th will receive a ticket voucher for the 2012 Brewers' Season.

The team has brought back many of the popular promotional giveaways from previous seasons, such as Old Orchard Juice and Pick n' Save Magnetic Schedules for all fans at the team's home opener October 14th, Children's Hospital Posters (1,500 kids 14 & under) on November 13th, We Energies Calendars (10,000) on December 16th, Potawatomi Bingo Casino Cowbells (5,000) on December 26th, Gruber Law Offices T-shirts (5,000) on January 6th, Team Pictures (all fans) on January 7th, Patrick Cudahy Pennants (5,000) on January 27th, and Fan Appreciation Night on April 15th.

In addition, Milwaukee favorite Pat McCurdy will entertain fans before and after the game on both December 26th and March 30th, while team's annual Tribute to Wrestling featuring former grappling superstars will be on Sunday, February 12th.

As the team does each year, the Admirals will have a number of promotions with a charitable angle to them. At the commencement of the season the Admirals will host the "Hunt for Pink October" for the fifth consecutive year to help raise cancer awareness. During the month of October the Admirals will don special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefitting breast cancer research and Lee Denim Day Charities. In addition, the team will have giant pink ribbons emblazoned on the ice. More details about the Hunt for Pink October will be released shortly.

The Admirals are also proud to offer all Veterans free tickets to the team's game on Saturday, November 12 in honor of Veteran's Day and on December 2nd the team will present the U.S. Cellular Teddy Bear Toss where fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears to the game and then thrown them on the ice when the Admirals score their first goal. The bears are then picked up and donated to needy children.

Potawatomi Bingo Casino will also sponsor Chuck-a-Puck, where fans can purchase foam pucks at select games for $1 and then throw them onto the ice for a chance to win great prizes. The proceeds from Chuck-a-Puck go to the Milwaukee Admirals Power Play Foundation, which is the team's charitable arm.

The Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner also returns for another year. At 20 different games during the season two Admirals players will sign autographs after the game in the Autograph Corner, which is located outside section 225.

Individual tickets for the game and concert will go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 19th at 9:00 am.
