UPCOMING GAMES AND PROMOTIONS
Thursday, March 3 - Columbus at Louisiana, 8:05 PM EST (Season Series vs. LOU: 5-1(0))
The Snakes take a trip to the Cajundome in Lafayette, La. on Thursday night for a game against the much-improved Louisiana IceGators. The Snakes fell to the 'Gators for the first time all season the last time the two teams met back on February 18 in Louisiana. In several twists to the Louisiana schedule, this marks the final home game of the season for the IceGators, who have already been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The 'Gators will play three games in three nights at home this week. The Columbus game and a Wednesday night contest against Mississippi was already scheduled; Louisiana will now face Pensacola in the Cajundome on Tuesday, a game rescheduled from earlier in the season when an ice storm threatened the Lafayette area. In another scheduling wrinkle, this game will mark the last game for the IceGators until March 18, when they will face the Snakes again in Columbus.
Friday, March 4 - Fayetteville at Columbus, 7:30 PM EST (Season Series vs. FAY: 6-1(1))
The Cottonmouths return home on Friday night to take on the Fayetteville FireAntz. After the Antz took a 5-4 overtime win in Columbus on November 4, the Snakes have gone undefeated against them, including a perfect 5-0 mark in games played at Fayetteville. Fayetteville is currently on the outside looking in on the SPHL playoff picture as they are four points behind sixth-place Huntsville but have two games in hand on the Ice Bears.
PROMOTIONS: Georgia Lottery Night!
Saturday, March 5 - Huntsville at Columbus, 7:30 PM EST (Season Series vs. HSV: 2-5(0))
The Huntsville Havoc visit the Snake Pit on Saturday night for the first time since December 16. Huntsville is currently tied with the Augusta RiverHawks for second place in the SPHL standings with a game in hand. The two teams will face each other once more in the regular season in a St. Patrick's Day game at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville.
PROMOTIONS: Fight Night with special guest, UFC's Josh Koscheck. A pre-game Q&A, meet and greet dinner will be held in the hospitality suites. Tickets for this event include a game ticket and dinner and are $50, and must be purchased in advance through the Snakes office. Special Fight Night jerseys will be worn and auctioned following the game.
