Fort Wayne, IN (November 13, 2010)- The Erie BayHawks outlasted the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 90-84, in a pre-season matchup in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is the third year for the home and home series between these two teams.

The two teams battled back and forth during the first period of play finishing in a tie 24-24 heading into the second. The BayHawks took the lead early in the period and would keep it for the remainder of the game, despite a late attempt at a come-back lead by Rod Wilmont of the Mad Ants.

The BayHawks had five players score in double figures and were led by Cederic Jackson who finished with 14 points and 10 assists. Kyle Goldcamp and Ivan Johnson both finished with 13 a piece.

Wilmont led the way for the Ants, scoring 9 of his 20 in the final quarter. Lazare finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

The Mad Ants season opener is Sunday, November 21 against the Sioux Falls Skyforce at the Memorial Coliseum. The BayHawks open up at home on Friday, November 19 against the Springfield Armor.
