
Chicago Fire Release Forward Stefan Dimitrov

CHICAGO, IL (August 27, 2010) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that the club has released forward Stefan Dimitrov. The Bulgarian forward appeared in 12 games for the Fire, making his MLS debut as a starter against D.C. United June 13, 2009.
"We would like to thank Stefan for his contributions to the Chicago Fire and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors," said Fire Technical Director Frank Klopas.
The Concordia College product appeared five times this season, making his first league appearance against Chivas USA May 1.
