Sound Tigers Announce 2010-11 Preseason Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, CONN (Aug. 26, 2010) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have released their preseason schedule in preparation for the 2010-11 regular season. The Sound Tigers will play three preseason contests, comprised of two games against the rival Hartford Wolf Pack and a visit to the defending Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears.

On Friday, October 1, the Sound Tigers will head to the TD Bank Sports Center on the York Hill Campus of Quinnipiac University to face-off against the Wolf Pack at 7 p.m. The two teams will face each other again the next evening, Saturday, October 2, at 7 p.m. at The Rinks at Shelton in Shelton, CT. Tickets for the home game against Hartford on Oct. 2, which will be a fundraiser dedicated to the Greater Bridgeport Youth Hockey Association, are $15 and can be purchased at The Rinks at Shelton.

The Sound Tigers will close out their preseason slate the next evening on Sunday, Oct. 3 in Hershey, PA against the Hershey Bears. That game will take place at the Giant Center, and is scheduled to get underway at 5 p.m.

These three games will lead up to the Sound Tigers 2010-11 regular season opener at home against the Worcester Sharks on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. The rest of the 2010-11 Sound Tigers regular season schedule is available on the Sound Tigers website, and now is the time to purchase your tickets.
