Gamblers to Raise Money for Youth Hockey

Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers will play the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League in an exhibition game on Tuesday, September 21 at the Cornerstone Community Center in DePere. Face off is set for 7:05 PM. All proceeds from the game will be given to the Junior Gamblers Youth Hockey Association.
Tickets are $5.00 with all seating being general admission. Tickets can be purchased through the Gamblers front office beginning on September 7th (405-1265). Tickets can also be purchased day of game at the Cornerstone Ice Arena beginning at 5:00 PM.
Prior to the game fans are encouraged to attend the Junior Gamblers Tailgate Party in the Cornerstone Community Center parking lot. Tailgate begins at 5:00 PM. Beer, soda and hot dogs will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the Junior Gamblers Youth Hockey Association.
The Gamblers are dedicated to giving back to Green Bay and its surrounding communities. This past year the Gamblers organization raised over $60,000 for local and national organizations and charities.
Exhibition Schedule Set
The Gamblers will open their exhibition schedule on Friday, September 17 as they travel to The Edge Sports Arena in Bensenville, Illinois to face off against the Chicago Steel at 7:30 PM. The two teams will also play at the Edge on Saturday (9/18) at 3:30 PM. For ticket information contact the Chicago Steel at 630-594-1165.
The following weekend the Gamblers will travel to the Fall Classic in Sioux City, Iowa September 23-25.
