Admirals Announce Three-Year Deal with 102.1 the Game

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals and Red Zebra Broadcasting have reached an agreement that will see the Admirals partner with WXTG Radio (102.1FM/1490AM). With the agreement, "The Game" 102.1 FM and 1490 AM will become the flagship stations for Norfolk Admirals hockey through the 2012-13 season, broadcasting all regular season and playoff games as well as the weekly Admirals Hour Talk Show.
"We are thrilled to begin a relationship with 'The Game' 102.1 and 1490 AM," said Admirals Vice President Joe Gregory. "In addition to a strong signal, our fans will also enjoy increased daily coverage of the Admirals on our new radio home. Red Zebra Broadcasting is doing an outstanding job of establishing 'The Game' as a premiere sports talk radio station in Hampton Roads. We are happy to be joining their family."

"The Game" simulcasts on two frequencies: 102.1 FM and 1490 AM. The combination of both signals provides Admirals fans complete coverage in Norfolk and surrounding areas. In addition, all Admirals games and the Admirals Hour Talk Show will be streamed online at 1021FMTHEGAME.com.
102.1 The Game is also the exclusive home of the Washington Redskins in Hampton Roads and the nationally-recognized local sports talk show "The 757 Club," which airs weekday afternoons from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
