USHL Lumberjacks Extend Season Ticket Offer

Last weekend the Muskegon Lumberjacks gave hockey fans from around West Michigan a taste of what they will see in 2010-2011. Many who caught the action over the weekend were so impressed by the level of play, they purchased season tickets before they even left the LC Walker Arena.
With the increased enthusiasm created by the 2010 Lumberjacks Tryout Camp for the upcoming season, the Lumberjacks are rewarding our loyal fans by extending the Season Ticket Renewal Rates until July 20, 2010. Renewal rates are $240 for adults, $180 for juniors and seniors, and $150 for children. Returning Season Ticket Holders who renew by July 20th will save up to $165 off the regular admission.
Players from around the world travelled to Muskegon June 14-20 to try to earn a spot on the Lumberjacks roster. Fans that stopped by throughout the week to check out the action were treated with exciting end-to-end rushes, bone-crushing hits, and several toe-to-toe fights.
The Lumberjacks debut in the United States Hockey League in the fall. The USHL is the premier junior league in the United States. Players are working to earn a scholarship to college. The USHL stresses a road to the NHL by way of a college education. Over 230 players in the USHL last year had NCAA Division I commitments and over 140 alumni were active in the NHL.
