Thursday, May 27
With the school-year winding down, the Condors are doing their best to help as many schools as possible end on a high note. Colonel Claw'dwill bring the slapshot booth and other Condors prizes to the 1st Grade Carnival at Bill Williams Elementary School, located at 3601 Harris Road, from 9:00-11 a.m.
Friday, May 28
Fresh off of re-signing with the Condors for next season, Head Coach Marty Raymond will join the kids at Si Se Puede Learning Center, located on 455 E. Ash Ave in Shafterfrom 3:15-4 p.m. to take them through some off-ice training drills and partake in a pizza party to close out the day.
Upcoming Events
The Condors are once again proud to be nominated in the category of Large Humanitarian Group Effort for the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce Beautiful Bakersfield Award. The Condors' community efforts throughout the season totaled more than $358,000 raised in money and gifts to charities in Kern County. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 5 at the DoubleTree Hotel, beginning at 5 p.m. The event will be televised live on KGET-TV 17and attended by Condors representatives.
On Sunday, June 6, Colonel Claw'dwill help support the fight against diabetes at the 1st Annual Bakersfield Diabetes Forum, held at the Bakersfield Marriott on 801 Truxtun Ave. from 12:-1:30. The event will take place in the ballroom and begins at 10 a.m.
