
PrairieThunder Remind Fans to Trade in Unused Season, Club Tickets

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder club and season ticket-holders are reminded they can trade in unused tickets to previous games during the 2009-10 season for tickets to any of the team's three remaining International Hockey League home games at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
The PrairieThunder meets Muskegon on Friday and Flint on Saturday in 7:05 p.m. contests. The other remaining home game is Friday, April 9 against Muskegon at 7:05 p.m.
Bloomington is on the verge of clinching its first playoff berth in the club's four-year history with a 30-29-4-5 record, good for 69 points. The PrairieThunder leads Flint by six points and Quad City by eight for the final playoff berth with eight games remaining.
Club seat-holders can redeem up to four tickets per game in the Club Section. If they wish to redeem more than four tickets, they can do so for tickets in sections 105-115 with no limit.
Season ticket-holders can redeem any unused tickets for another ticket to any of the three games. All redemptions can be made by taking unused tickets to the box office during regular business hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or on the day of the game.
Friday night is Sci-Fi Night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum and fans will be participating in a Laser tag contest on the ice during the first intermission.
Saturday night is KirbieThunder Night in honor of Kirbie Brittain, who passed away a few years ago from heart disease. The Friends of Kirbie group are raising money for the SLCH Camp Rhythm, Give Kid's the World and the Friends of Kirbie.
The foundation will support scholarships in the name of Kirbie. Camp Rhythm is for children with Heart Disease. PrairieThunder players will wear special jerseys in honor of the event. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game.
The April 9 date is Chicago Blackhawks and Fan Appreciation Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive Blackhawk hats, compliments of Country Financial. Fans also will receive prizes from PrairieThunder sponsors throughout the game.
In addition, the first 2,000 fans will receive a reusable, recyclable staple grocery bag, compliments of CM Promotions.
