JOLIET, IL- A t Last, the JackHammers announce the appearance of world class actor and musician Kevin Costner, Saturday, May 29th. P reparation for this event has been in the works since the announcement of the Northern League 2010 schedule. R ecently, the JackHammers recreated Costner's Bull Durham movie poster as a part of the 2010 marketing campaign. I n addition to his appearance on May 29th the JackHammers will be giving away 1,000 copies of Field of Dreams. L ake County will be the home of Costner's Independent baseball team, the Fielders.
F eature appearances are pending based on Costner's busy schedule. O n May 29th fans may catch a glance of Costner as he lounges in a private suite at Silver Cross Field. LOOSE GRAVEL: The Joliet JackHammers 2010 Home Opener will be Friday, May 28th at 7:10pm against the Lake County Fielders, one of two Northern League expansion teams.
