ROUND ROCK, Texas - Ryan-Sanders Baseball CEO Reid Ryan announced Monday a long-term agreement that makes Pepsi Beverages Company the official beverage provider at The Dell Diamond. The change takes effect immediately, and fans can expect to see Pepsi products at the stadium on opening night.

The agreement brings a complete overhaul to the beverage choices at The Dell Diamond, along with new equipment, new signage and new marketing elements. Fans also will have more size options for drinks than were available in the past.

"This is a great deal for both parties," Ryan said. "We're excited to have Pepsi at The Dell Diamond, and I am confident our fans will enjoy the broader range of drink options Pepsi provides."

Pepsi Beverages Company, a division of PepsiCo, will provide a wide variety of leading beverage products, including but not limited to Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Sierra Mist. Dr Pepper and Diet Dr Pepper also will be available to the Express and its concessionaire, Sodexo. Aquafina water will be available both in 20-ounce bottles. Gatorade, the world's premier sports drink, also will be available at Dell Diamond concession stands, along with Muscle Milk, SoBe and Lipton Tea drinks.

"We think this not only gives our fans more options but also healthier options," Ryan said. "All around, this is a much better product for a family atmosphere such as The Dell Diamond."

Pepsi also will unveil a can panel promotion this season with the Round Rock Express featured on the sides of Pepsi cans sold throughout Central Texas. Fans will be able to redeem those cans for family fun packs to Express games.

"We're proud to be the official soft drink provider of The Dell Diamond," Pepsi Director of Food Services Mike McGraw said. "All of us are looking forward to the Round Rock Express taking the field for the 2010 season, and we're delighted that fans will be able to enjoy one of our many refreshing beverages when they do."

The Express opens the 2010 season April 8 with a four-game series at New Orleans, followed by a four-game series at Oklahoma City. Round Rock's first home series is April 16-19 against New Orleans.

The Round Rock Express, owned and operated by Ryan-Sanders Baseball, LP, is the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros and a member of the Pacific Coast League.
