MILWAUKEE (March 15, 2010) - He's back for Easter Sunday, and we don't mean the Easter Bunny.

Dale Sveum, who authored one of the most memorable moments in Milwaukee Brewers history, will be the guest of the Milwaukee Wave on April 4, when the Wave host the MISL Championship Game, presented by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Back in 1987, Sveum and the Brewers were 11-0 heading into an Easter Sunday contest with the Texas Rangers. Trailing 4-1 going into the bottom of the ninth, the Brewers tied it on a 3-run homer by Rob Deer and won it on Sveum's full-count, two-run blast moments later.

Sveum is the Brewers' batting coach today, and will be in town as the Brewers prepare to open the 2010 season at home on Monday, April 5 against the Colorado Rockies.

The Wave end the regular season this week with two games against Philadelphia. The School Day Game is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, and tickets are available to the general public for $20. On Saturday, Fan Appreciation Day kicks off at 6 p.m. Prizes will be given away the entire day, and all players participate in a 30-minute autograph session on the field following the game. Also signing after the game will be Kate Markgraf, US national team member and director of the Wave girls-only summer camps.
