State College Spikes News Release
The State College Spikes are offering a free and fun way for their Facebook fans (join at Facebook.com/statecollegespikes ) to follow the college basketball championship tournament and win great Spikes prizes!
The Spikes Facebook Bracket Challenge allows fans to compete in a free bracket competition with other Spikes Facebook fans. The top three finishers will win the following prizes:
First place - Two (2) Field Box tickets to the Spikes' 2010 Home Opener, June 19th and recognition as the Spikes Bracket Challenge winner on StateCollegeSpikes.com
Second place - Bat autographed by various members of the Pittsburgh Pirates
Third place - Autographed baseball from Pittsburgh Pirates' 2009 supplemental first round draft pick Victor Black
All members of the Bracket Challenge will have access to the tournament scores and standings. Picks must be submitted by 11:50 AM ET on March 18, 2010. The top three finishers will be determined at the end of the tournament in conjunction with the championship game on April 5th, 2010. To join, you must first open your web browser and be logged into Facebook. On the Spikes Facebook Page wall, click on the link to the Bracket Challenge. When the Bracket Challenge page appears, click 'Join Group' under the Spikes logo.
