
WHL Playoffs Start Friday For The Giants

The five time Western Hockey League B.C. Division Champion Vancouver Giants will open up round one of the WHL playoffs this weekend playing host to the Kamloops Blazers. Games one and two will be played at the Pacific Coliseum, Friday March 19th at 7:30 pm, and Saturday March 20th at 7:00 pm.
The Giants and Blazers played each other eight times during the season with Vancouver winning the season series 6-1-0-1. Vancouver won all four games played at the Pacific Coliseum, and went 2-1-0-1 in Kamloops.
Tickets for all games at the Coliseum are on sale through Ticketmaster at 604 280 4400 to charge by phone or on line at ticketmaster.ca

The Giants will practise at the Ladner Leisure Centre Wednesday and Thursday at 1:15 pm. Players and Head Coach Don Hay will be available approximately one hour before practise.
