Suns Single Game Tickets On Sale March 15

JACKSONVILLE, FL - Single-game tickets for the entire Jacksonville Suns 2010 regular season will go on sale Monday, March 15, online at www.jaxsuns.com and through the Suns Box Office beginning at 9am. Tickets for the Suns' Major League Exhibition Game, featuring the 2009 Southern League Champions taking on the Florida Marlins on Friday, April 2, are currently on sale online and through the Box Office.

The defending Southern League Champion Jacksonville Suns are excited about planned at the Baseball Grounds. The team will be commemorate the Suns' fourth Southern League title with a number of great giveaways, beginning with a full-metal replica championship ring giveaway on Opening Night, April 8. Fans can also enjoy a number of great event and giveaway nights, including four bobbleheads, two collectible game-worn jersey auctions, featured in-game entertainment acts, postgame concerts and more throughout the season.

Weekly fan-favorite promotions will return this year, including Fifty Cent Family Feast Tuesdays, numerous Businessperson Special day games on Wednesdays, the very popular Thursday Night Throwdowns and Friday Family Fireworks. The Suns will also host three huge fireworks shows on holiday weekends this season, with special Sunday evening games to celebrate Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

The Suns will also be introducing new uniforms and colors this season. The former blue, yellow and red scheme has been replaced with a combination of black, gold, and "old gold". While not a full logo redesign, the color change is the first since being renamed the Suns in 1991. The Suns will also wear new home and batting practice uniforms, along with new corresponding on-field caps, to reflect the new colors.

The Jacksonville Suns are the Double-A Affiliate of the Florida Marlins and are proud members of the Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs. The Suns begin the season with a Major League exhibition against the Florida Marlins on Friday, April 2, followed by the regular-season opener on Thursday, April 8.
