Red Stars At IYSA Expo This Saturday

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- Join the Chicago Red Stars of Women's Professional Soccer this Saturday at the 17th Annual Illinois Youth Soccer Association Expo and Chicago FireFest, featuring the Chicago Red Stars. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Schaumburg Sports Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road, in Schaumburg. Admission and parking are free.

Red Stars Head Coach Emma Hayes and Red Stars players will be at this exciting event as participants will have the opportunity to meet and learn from the professionals themselves!

Here is a rundown of the team's schedule at the IYSA Expo:

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

Stop by the Red Stars booth for a chance to spin the prize wheel and much more. 11 to 11:50 a.m.:

Participate in an open forum with Red Stars players and staff. Topics will include building a successful women's soccer franchise, utilizing the immense pool of local soccer talent in the Red Stars organization and marketing to the local soccer community. Noon to 1:15 p.m.:

Stop by the Red Stars booth to get autographs from your favorite Red Stars players. 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.:

Red Stars Head Coach Emma Hayes and select members of the team will participate in a preseason training session. Coaches and youth players can take a sneak peak at the methods of coaching and training of professional world class soccer players. 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.:

Join Hayes and Red Stars players for an interactive skills training session. Youth players in attendance at the expo have the opportunity to take the field with members of the Red Stars and learn directly from the pros. Space is limited, so arrive early to sign up.
