Oilers Reassign Plante And Chorney To Falcons

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that defensemen Taylor Chorney and Alex Plante

have been reassigned to the Falcons by their National Hockey league affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers. Plante was recalled back on January 31 and made his NHL debut on February 1 against the Carolina Hurricanes. In four total games with the Oilers, Plante collected one assist

and two penalty minutes. In 48 games with the Falcons, he has two goals and seven assists while adding 122 penalty minutes. Chorney has split the season between Edmonton and Springfield playing in 23 games for the Falcons and 21 contests for the Oilers. Chorney leads all Springfield blueliners in goals with four.
