
Baysox Announce Raffle Winner

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox raised more than $2,300 to benefit the relief efforts in Haiti through a raffle on www.baysox.com
and announce the raffle winner today. Tony Miller of Annapolis, Md., was one of more than 100 fans who purchased raffle tickets and was rewarded with a pair of 2010 season tickets. The team partnered with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF on the raffle, and 100 percent of every ticket sold went to the relief effort.
Miller heard about the raffle through an e-mail from the team and purchased 10 tickets. "We used to come to a lot of games, when my son was younger," Miller said. "We used to come with the Boy Scouts, but we haven't made it in the last couple years."
Miller has also donated to the relief effort in Haiti through the American Red Cross.

The Baysox open their 18th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles at Prince George's Stadium on Thursday, April 8, at 7:05 p.m. against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
