Sioux City Musketeers News Release
We're teaming up with the Sioux City Fire Fighters for the annual Fill the Boot" fund raiser at the Musketeers game this Saturday night, January 16th, 2010, to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
We've dubbed the January 16th game as MDA "Fill the Boot" night. Fire fighters will be at the entrances of Tyson Event Center/Gateway Arena with their firefighter turnout boots so hockey fans may donate to MDA. In addition to "Fill the Boot", fire fighters and fire fighter auxiliary will be working at the Chuck-a-puck stand, of which a percentage of sales will be donated to the "Fill the Boot" fundraiser.
MDA is a volunteer health agency working to defeat 43 types neuromuscular diseases through worldwide research, comprehensive services, and far-reaching professional and public education. The funds raised by the "Fill the Boot" campaign will help MDA continue to provide services to over 550 families in the Sioux City and surrounding area.
