Toronto FC announced Thursday that the team has sold out its season seats for the 2010 Major League Soccer season. The team has capped season sales at 16,000 for the third straight season.

The team is also proud to announce that 95% of those season seats came in the form of renewals. This year, over 200 people graduated from the Gold waiting list to become season seat holders.

"As we head into our fourth season, we continue to be amazed at the support of our fans," said senior director of business operations Paul Beirne. "It's early, but there's already a lot of excitement building for 2010, and we always enjoy welcoming new fans to BMO Field."

Param Ratnasabapathy of Toronto, who joined the wait list in August of 2008, was the lucky recipient of the final season seats that were available.

Partial season packs are currently on sale to those on the Red wait list. Any packages remaining will go on sale to the general public on Monday, January 4. For more information on how you can become a member of Toronto FC's waiting list visit www.torontofc.ca

Toronto FC will open the 2010 MLS season on Saturday, March 27 against the Columbus Crew in Ohio.
