Barons Announce Clark Griswold Christmas Decorating Contest

HOOVER - Is your house on fire... or are those just the Christmas lights? The Birmingham Barons announced Tuesday the details for Clark Griswold's Christmas Decorating Contest. Deck your house with bright lights, tacky Santa figurines and enter for a chance to win a Barons' season ticket package in 2010.
Participants can submit photos from their decorated homes by logging onto Barons.com or by logging onto CBS42.com and heading to the Contest Page. Participants wishing to mail photos can send them to 100 Ben Chapman Dr. Birmingham, Alabama 35244. Photos sent through mail will not be returned. All entries must be received before Monday, December 21, 2009. A winner will be announced on December 23.
The prizes for the winners are as follow:
First Place: Two 12-game season ticket package and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Barons annual Christmas in July promotion.
Second Place: Perfect-10 Plan.
Third Place: Box of Christmas lights.
The Birmingham Barons will begin their 2010 season on Thursday, April 8 when the Carolina Mudcats come to Regions Park for a 7:05 PM contest. Season ticket plans as well as mini plans are currently available online.
