
Mad Ants Acquire Kurz In Trade With Erie

Fort Wayne, IN (November 6, 2009)- The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have traded first round pick Alade Aminu, to the Erie Bayhawks for former Notre Dame standout Rob Kurz, who played last season for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA.
Kurz, a 2008 Notre Dame graduate, played in 40 games for the Warriors during the 2008-2009 season and averaged 3.9 points per game. Kurz signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in August and played in 5 pre-season games before being waived in October.
Kurz joins fellow Fighting Irish Alumni Kyle McAlarney and Ryan Ayers on the Mad Ants seventeen man training camp roster.
