Spirit Express Thanks To Veterans And Military Personnel By Offering Five Dollar Ticket For November

(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit are pleased to celebrate the efforts and sacrifices of military veterans and active duty personnel by hosting a Veteran's Night on Sunday, November 8 at 4:00 PM. Veterans and military personnel can show their military I.D. to get upper level tickets for themselves and their family for a special rate of $5.00 per ticket. Plus the first 2,500 fans attending the game will receive a complimentary USA hand flag courtesy American Legion Post 18 of Bay City, Michigan.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Saginaw Spirit Ticket and Merchandise Store, 5789 State Street in Saginaw, or by calling 989-498-7747. Tickets can also be purchased at The Dow Event Center Box Office during normal business hours and the day of the game starting at 2:00 PM.

The Spirit host two games this weekend, starting with a 7:11 PM contest against the Oshawa Generals Friday, November 6. It's Pepsi Orange Crush Night, with The Dow Event Center concession stands selling 20oz bottles of Orange Crush for $1.00 each. Fans can also enter for a chance to win Orange Crush for a year. The team resumes action on Sunday, November 8 with a 4:00 PM contest against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. It's Veterans and Special Olympics night! Veterans and active military personnel can show their military ID to receive an exclusive upper level ticket rate of $5.00. The Spirit are also hosting a fundraiser that night for Special Olympics of Michigan.
