Join Chicago Red Stars For Charity Event At Trader Vic's

October 26, 2009 - Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) Chicago Red Stars

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Red Stars and renowned Chef Hans invite you to join the organization for a happy hour charity event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Trader Vic's, 1030 N. State St., in Chicago.

The benefit supports the Chicago Red Stars Charitable Foundation, which provides opportunities for girls and women through educational, recreational and environmental initiatives throughout Greater Chicago. All proceeds from the Trader Vic's happy hour benefit the foundation.

Tickets ($50 in advance, $65 at the door) include hors d'oeuvres and two drink tickets. Red Stars players Karen Carney, Kate Markgraf and Ella Masar are scheduled to be on hand, along with head coach Emma Hayes, foundation president Peter Wilt, general manager Marcia McDermott and other Red Stars staff members. Hayes will speak at the event and provide an off-season update as the team prepares for the 2010 Women's Professional Soccer season.

The event includes a silent auction with autographed items, tickets to various Chicago pro sports teams and much more.
