The Binghamton Mets open the 19th campaign in franchise history on Thursday, April 8th at 6:35 pm against the defending Eastern League Champion Akron Aeros at NYSEG Stadium. The opener represents the first of 71 scheduled home dates for the B-Mets against league opponents.

Fans can spend the seasonal holidays including Mother's Day (May 9th), Memorial Day (May 31st), Father's Day (June 20th), Independence Day (July 4th) & Labor Day (September 6th) cheering on their hometown team. The B-Mets welcome the new professional team from Richmond, Virginia for the first time for a four-game set, May 24th thru the 27th. Last week, the Connecticut Defenders announced a move to Virginia's capital for the 2010 season. The Richmond ballclub is conducting a "Name the Team" contest currently and will continue as an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.

Monday thru Thursday home games will be scheduled to start at 6:35 pm throughout the entire season with the following exceptions: May 25th (Memorial Day) 1:05 pm, May 27th (Baseball in Education Day #1) 10:35 am, June 10th (Baseball in Education Day #2) 10:35 am, July 12th (Super Splash Day) 1:05 pm & September 6th (Labor Day) 1:05 pm.

Fridays throughout the year will begin at 7:05 pm, and Saturday games from May 29th onward will start at 7:05 pm (April 10th & 24th, May 8th all slated for 1:05 pm). Outside of May 30th (Memorial Day Eve) at 6:35 pm, Sunday home games in the season's first four months will commence at 1:05 pm. In August & September, the 1st pitch for the three scheduled, Sunday home dates will occur at 6:35 pm.

Box seat Season tickets for 2010 ($415 per seat) and reserved grandstand mini-packs of 10 ($70), 30 ($195) & 50 ($305) are on sale now at the B-Mets administrative offices. The prices remain at the same levels as 2009. For more information, visit www.bmets.com or call (607) 723-METS.
