The RockHounds struggled in the field in game one, as they commited five errors en route to an 11-5 loss on Tuesday night. An early combination of costly fielding mistakes and stranded base runners put the RockHounds in a hole that they could not dig out of. The Naturals now lead the best-of-five Championship Series 1-0 heading into Wednesday night's game at Citibank Ballpark (also the final RockHounds home game of 2009).
Graham Godfrey (2-0, 0.98 ERA against the Naturals this season) will be on the mound for the RockHounds as the Naturals send left hander Rowdy Hardy (has not faced the RockHounds this season) out for game two. Gates open at 6:00 PM, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 PM. All fountain sodas and draft beers are half price. Be sure to support the 'Hounds for one final time at Citibank Ballpark tonight, as they try to even the Texas League Championship series at one game a piece before heading to Springdale, Arkansas for for the finale of the series and the 2009 season.
