Fan Spirit Section Audition Registration Now Open

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that they are seeking the rowdiest, craziest, most energetic fans in the Rio Grande Valley to be members of the Vipers' Fan Spirit Section, the Snake Pit, who will get free season tickets in return for being creative and loud at every Vipers home game.
Registration at Academy Sports + Outdoors locations Valley-wide, the Vipers Pro-Shop and rgvipers.com is now open for auditions which will be held on October 3 starting at 3:30 p.m. at the McAllen Convention Center as part of RGV Rocket Launch, a festival surrounding Houston Rockets Training Camp in the Rio Grande Valley.
A panel of celebrity judges, including Vipers alumnus and current Houston Rockets point guard Aaron Brooks will choose the winners.
The last day for registration is September 23.
