JACKSON, TENN. (AUGUST 22, 2009) - The Seattle Mariners have announced the following roster moves affecting the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. The moves come before the Jaxx open a series tonight against the Birmingham Barons at Pringles Park. Game one tonight begins at 7:05 PM CDT

RHP Phillipe Aumont has been placed on the 7-Day DL (left hand) prior to tonight's game one with the Birmingham Barons at Pringles Park. The Canadian hurler is 1-4 with the D-Jaxx this season with a 5.09 ERA. Aumont has converted four out of seven save chances. Aumont suffered two losses during the previous series against the Huntsville Stars.

RHP Eric Hull is activated to the Diamond Jaxx roster for tonight's game with the Birmingham Barons. Hull has appeared in 39 games for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. He has compiled a record of 7-3 with a 6.13 ERA. Hull made his Major League debut in 2007 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, appearing in five games in relief. He had no record with a 4.05 ERA. Signed as a Minor League free agent to the Seattle Mariners prior to the 2009 season. ... Designated for assignment by the Red Sox on August 30, 2008. ... Was traded to the Red Sox for Christian Lara on April 7, 2008. ... Signed to the Dodgers as a non-drafted free agent on June 18, 2002. ... As a senior at the University of Portland in 2002, earned All-West Coast Conference second-team honors for a second straight season after leading the circuit with eight saves. ... Was named WCC Pitcher of the Week after hurling 9.0 innings of relief on April 27 vs. Pepperdine.
