Flying Tigers return home Sunday for doubleheader with Yankee

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for a doubleheader on Sunday, August 22 with the first-place Tampa Yankees. Tickets for the doubleheader and all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Parking is FREE.

Sunday, August 23 vs. Tampa Yankees @ 4:00 p.m. (Gates open at 3:00 p.m.):

Sunday is Family Fun Day. All kids 14 and under will receive free admission to the game. Kids can also play catch on the field before the game and run the bases after the game (weather permitting). All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae compliments of Dairy Queen.

The Flying Tigers will also be collecting baseball equipment for Roberto's Kids. The Roberto's Kids program collects and donates new and gently used baseball equipment for children in Latin American countries who don't have any of their own The program continues the legacy and commitment to social responsibility of the late, great Roberto Clemente. Members of the Gulf Coast League Tigers will be signing autographs in the main concourse area before and during the second game.
