
Three Kernels selected to BA's 'Best Tools' list

Baseball America published their annual 'Best Tools' list in the most recent issue, dated August 24, and three Kernels are listed as having the best tools in the Midwest League.
Anel De Los Santos was selected as the Best Defensive Catcher; Alexi Amarista as the Best Defensive Second Baseman; and Tyson Auer as the Best Defensive Outfielder.
The issue selects players in all full-season leagues, including the Major Leagues. Other former Kernels selected were Ismael Carmona and Efren Navarro at Rancho Cucamonga; Trevor Reckling, and Peter Bourjos at Arkansas; Bobby Wilson at Salt Lake; and Erick Aybar with the LA Angels.
The playoff-bound Kernels continue a nine game home stand through Friday, August 14th with 6:35 pm games tonight and Friday against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
