Lake Elsinore Storm News Release
LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - The Lake Elsinore Storm are proud to announce an historic event coming to the ballpark. On Wednesday, August 12, 2009 The Diamond will play host to a trio of Hall of Fame musicians. Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp are set to perform in Lake Elsinore as part of The Bob Dylan Show summer concert tour. The tour marks only the second time in 24 years that these three legendary performers will share the stage.
Since first embarking on a tour of minor league baseball parks in 2004, over a half-million fans have come together to spend a night under the stars. With free admittance for children under 14 (with a purchase of one adult ticket), these tours draw a multi-generational fan base rarely seen on the concert circuit, causing one reporter to describe it as, "more like a backyard party than a rock concert."
All media are welcome to take pictures on Tuesday, August 11 during the stage set-up at 3:00pm as well as the load-in on Wednesday, August 12 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Once gates open at 4:30pm there will be no photography or filming allowed inside the ballpark.
With any further questions on the event contact Mike Lynskey at Jam Productions: mike.lynskey@jamusa.com or call the Storm box office at 951-245-4487. To order tickets online, visit www.stormbaseball.com.
