NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (August 3)-One of the Central Hockey League's (CHL) top offensive defenseman will return to the champions as the Texas Brahmas announced the re-signing of Kevin McLeod for 2009-10 season.

McLeod, 25, will enter his third professional season following a career best year with the Brahmas in 2008-09. Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong has witnessed a huge growth in McLeod's development and looks forward to next season with the bruising defenseman back on his blueline.

"Kevin plays well in the Brahmas system and has a very strong role on this team. We expect a leadership role from him and another productive year," said Wildfong.
