Your Bluefish Ticket Guide
The Bridgeport Bluefish will return to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard to begin a three-game homestand when they welcome the Somerset Patriots to the Park City on Monday, July 6. Come to the ballpark and enjoy the action while rooting for your hometown team.
Monday, July 6 - 7:05 p.m. vs. Somerset - buy tickets -Kid's Eat Free at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, courtesy of ABI-JAY Novelty Foods. All children (12 and under) will receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and a 12 oz. fountain soda.
Tuesday, July 7 - 7:05 p.m. vs. Somerset - buy tickets -Kid's Eat Free at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, courtesy of Stew Leonard's. All children (12 and under) will receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and a 12 oz. fountain soda.
Wednesday, July 8 - 10:35 a.m. vs. Somerset - buy tickets -All fans can experience Winning Inning Wednesday dand your chance to take home $10,000.
Summer's Here, Book Your Picnic
The Bridgeport Bluefish would like to invite you to check out the ânew and improved' picnic area at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. With a new party tent, an excellent food and drink menu and premium seating, the picnic area is more enjoyable than ever before.
Fans can enjoy a catered, pre-game picnic with friends, family or co-workers at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Picnics start 75 minutes before the game and food is served until the first pitch. Group members can then take their seats and enjoy the rest of the night's entertainment. Groups will have the thrill of being recognized over the PA system as well as the Fish Vision scoreboard during the game.
Congressman Jim Himes Visits Harbor Yard
Congressman Jim Himes threw out the first pitch during Wednesday night's contest between the Bridgeport Bluefish and Camden Riversharks. The Bridgeport Bluefish would like to thank Congressman Himes for visiting the beautiful Ballpark at Harbor Yard and cheering on the hometown team.
Congressman Jim Himes represents Connecticut's 4th District in the United States House of Representatives. He is currently serving his first term in Congress and is a member of the House Committees on Financial Services and Homeland Security.
Player Profile: Luis Lopez
Lopez Brings Smiles to Camp
Luis Lopez stepped onto the dew christened field Wednesday morning with a bright smile that easily competed with the radiating sun at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. For the past three days, Lopez had tossed over 1,000 baseballs to kids ranging from the ages of 5-12 at this week's Bridgeport Bluefish summer camp. Inside the batting cage, the veteran third baseman gave little pointers and tips on how to become a better hitter at the plate. It was nothing new for Lopez, as he has become accustomed to taking on a mentoring role throughout his 14 year professional baseball career.
Flashing their brand-new Bluefish baseball caps and t-shirts, the kids lined up patiently at the batting cage, jostling for position to be first in line. The anticipation to touch the coldness of the aluminum baseball bat ran wild among the young players. One by one they stepped inside the batting cage and were once again greeted with a cheek-to-cheek smile from Lopez.

The good news for you is that we have two more fireworks extravaganzas this season. Our next display will take place on Saturday, August 15 and the final show of the year will be on Saturday, September 19. Come out and cheer on the Bluefish as they try to light up the competition on the field before they light up the skies.
