The second half of the 2009 season is underway, and during this week's series against the Burlington Bees at Modern Woodmen Park, we take the fun to a whole new level! In addition to the perks you have come to expect from Economic Stimulus Tuesday and Guaranteed Prize WINS-day, two brilliant fireworks displays on Thursday and Friday will celebrate Independence Day 2009 in style! One of the biggest nights of the year at Modern Woodmen Park! First, our very special Salute to Pro Wrestling takes center stage! You won't be able to hit your buddies with a chair or throw anyone off the top rope, but you can enjoy an entertaining on-field spectacle with an appearance by one of the all-time greats... Sgt. Slaughter!

But, best of all, stick around following the contest for the QUAD CITIES' FIRST INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS CELEBRATION OF 2009! There is no better way to welcome in the holiday weekend than with one of the biggest and best aerial displays that our great country will experience!

Fireworks Friday! The Year's Biggest Fireworks Show! What's better than one night of fireworks at Modern Woodmen Park? How about TWO nights of fireworks in a row???

We will light up the skies over the Mississippi River with another breathtaking display, as the City of Davenport's Red, White and Boom fireworks show kicks off at Modern Woodmen Park post-game! Thanks also goes out to our good friends at WLLR and WQAD NewsChannel 8! Come early for the exciting River Bandits baseball and stay late to 'ooh' and 'ahh' as the night sky comes to life!

All week long we're going to be having a blast at Modern Woodmen Park, including the two biggest Fireworks shows of the year on Thursday and Friday -- and lots of great prizes and free giveaways!
