
Third RiverDogs All-Star Promoted to Tampa

CHARLESTON, SC - The New York Yankees announced that South Atlantic League All-Star right-hander Hector Noesi has been promoted to the Class-A Advanced Tampa Yankees.
In 17 appearances including 11 starts with the RiverDogs, Noesi leaves with a 3-4 record and 2.38 ERA (20ER/75.2 IP) while walking 11 and striking out 78. The Dominican native began the '09 season with a 27.2 scoreless innings streak.
Noesi won the SAL Pitcher of the Week on May 18th behind his seven hitless inning start against the Lexington Legends on May 13th in addition to his All-Star selection.
