Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release

Restaurants, hotels, and ballparks across the nation, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals not withstanding, have gotten into the "Kids Eat Free" promotional craze.

For next Monday's game, the Naturals have decided that it is about time the adults get food for free!

Thanks to Tyson Foods, Sierra Mist, and Mrs. Baird's Bread Company, the Naturals are offering all fans on paid adult tickets (ages 13 and over) to receive a Hot Dog combo meal for free next Monday (June 29th). Upon entering the gate, those fans will receive a voucher redeemable at the concession stands for a Hot Dog, a bag of chips, and a 12 ounce fountain beverage. Additional Hot Dogs are available for just one dollar as they are at every Monday game at Arvest Ballpark.

Monday's game is a daygame at Noon against the Arkansas Travelers from North Little Rock, so play some hooky with Strike the Sasquatch, watch the only rivalry in Arkansas professional baseball, and get your free food!

Ozarks Electric customers can also purchase tickets on Mondays for $2 off at the ticket window by presenting their Ozarks Electric bill in person at the time of purchase.

As for the kids, several more "Kids Eat Free" days remain on the Naturals' 2009 schedule, including July 21st, July 22nd, August 4th, August 12th, August 25th, and August 26th.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale. The Naturals have a toll-free ticket hotline (1-877-444-2637) for fans to purchase Naturals tickets. As well, the website, www.nwanaturals.com, offers fans the opportunity to purchase tickets online and avoid lines at the ticket windows by printing their tickets at home or at the office.
