
Sarasota shuts out Cards

Palm Beach Cardinals News Release
Richard Castillo pitched a great game but could not get run support. The Cards were 0-9 with runners in scoring position. Castillo went seven innings and allowed one run off six hits. The score remained 1-0 until a frustrating ninth inning. Blake King allowed four runs in the top of the ninth to extend the Reds lead. Sarasota held on to win the first of three, 5-0.
Adron Chambers continues the stroke the ball, going 2-3 with a stolen base. All-Star, Shane Peterson went 2-4 on the night.
The Cards take on Sarasota in game two tomorrow night at 6:35 PM.
