Amerks To Honor Joe Perrotta With Moment Of Silence Sunday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will honor the memory of longtime game-night employee Joe Perrotta on Sunday, March 8th before the Amerks game against the Providence Bruins. Perrotta, 83, passed away Sunday evening.
Joe sold programs for all of the local sports teams in town, including the Amerks, Knighthawks, Rhinos, Rattlers and Red Wings. Perrotta also assisted with in-game entertainment, appearing in skits and performing, appropriately, Cotton Eye Joe at hundreds of Amerks games.
His son Ralph "Rocky" Perrotta works as a member of the Amerks and Knighthawks game-night staff.
