Keetley Returns from ECHL

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today announced that goaltender Matt Keetley has been recalled from the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers. In addition, goaltender Ryan Ludzik has been released from his Professional Try-Out Agreement.
Keetley appeared in 30 games for the Flames this season before joining the Wranglers on February 11th. The Medicine Hat, Alberta native is 7-17-4 as a Flame this season. He recorded a 2.70 goals against average and a .899 save percentage during his previous stint with the team. Keetley appeared in seven ECHL games for the Wranglers. He went 1-3 with an overtime loss and two shootout losses while skating in Las Vegas. The 6-foot-2 netminder recorded a 2.66 goals against average and a .930 save percentage in the ECHL.
Last season as a rookie, Keetley appeared in 26 AHL games with Quad City. He went 10-8-3 with a 2.33 goals against average and a .912 save percentage. He also appeared in a game for the NHL's Calgary Flames. Keetley stopped both shots he saw in nine minutes of action for the parent Flames.
In other transaction news, Ryan Ludzik was released from his Professional Try-Out Agreement. Ludzik served as a back up last night in Peoria as the Flames played the Rivermen.
The Quad City Flames visit Rockford on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. start. The game can be heard on 93.9 FM WYEC beginning at 7:05 p.m. with The Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show. Fans can also watch the game for just $6.00 at ahllive.com.
On Saturday, the Flames host Faith Night vs. the Iowa Chops. Groups that would like to take advantage of the Faith Night discount should call the Flames Ticket Office at (309) 764-7825. After the game, The Furnace Midwest Band will perform. A portion of the proceeds from Saturday's ticket sales will benefit WINNIE'S Place, a women's shelter in the Quad Cities. The Flames are home on Sunday, March 8th vs. Milwaukee. Face-off is at 5:05 p.m. Tickets anywhere in the arena are just $7.00 courtesy of Modern Woodmen. Popcorn will be on sale for just $1.50. Hot dogs will also be available for $1.50. After the game, members of the Modern Woodmen Kids Club are invited down to the ice to skate with Flames players.
