Sidewinders Announce Dance-Team Finals

MESA, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announced that the Sidewinders Audition Finals for the 2009 squad will be held at the Casino Arizona on the 101 and McKellips on Saturday, December 13th. The finals will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Casino's ShowStoppers Theater and will be open to the public.
All season-ticket holders, fans, staff, media, and friends are encouraged to attend and show their support for the girls. Approximately 18 of the best dancers will be selected to join the 2009 Sidewinders, partly based on their abilities to entertain the crowd on hand.
The Arizona Rattlers Sidewinders are the official dance team of the Arizona Rattlers and one of the longest running dance teams in the Arena Football League. Auditions are held yearly by the Rattlers assemble the team.
The first round of auditions, to be held on Saturday, December 6th, will be closed to the public. They will be held at the YMCA in Tempe, which is located at 7070 South Rural Road. Registration will begin at 11:30am, and the cost for the audition will be $20. Those that participated in the pre-audition class on Wednesday, November 19 at USAirways Center will receive a reduced rate of $10.
