Take your pick they were both doing some holiday shopping today in the Musketeer Gear stand, which reminded me to remind you to get yourselves in here and get some of this cool Musketeer schwag for everyone on your Christmas shopping list. What's that? They're not all Musketeer fans? Like that matters!?!? You know what you have to do.

FUN FILLED HOLIDAY WEEKEND DECEMBER 12th & 13th

The Musketeers hit the road this week, but they return to action on December 12th and 13th in an action packed weekend of F.U.N.! Here's a rundown of what's going on.

JUMPIN' JACK IS BACK!!!

Yes, the lovable, laughable furry Elmo type Karacter is back! If you missed him last year, don't make the same mistake twice, he'll be here for both games next weekend! He falls down steps, ice skates, does the YMCA at center ice, throws out tshirts, falls in love with all the ladies, you name it, Jumpin' Jack does it. You never know where you'll find him throughout the evening. He makes his rounds all night long from the box office lobby to the upper suite levels! Kids and adults alike will have a hoot!!!

HOLIDAY AUCTION

It's time again for the annual Holiday Auction! We've put together another great selection of items for you to bid on at this years event! Keep an eye on our website for a list of items, it should be posted soon. Items will be up for bid during both games next weekend.

BOOSTER CLUB JERSEY AUCTION

What? Another auction? Yes, you heard it correctly; another set of GAME WORN jerseys will be up for auction on Saturday night, December 13th immediately following the game against the Omaha Lancers. This set is brought to you by the Musketeers Booster Club.

BOY SCOUTS AHOY!!!

Someone last year said that Boy Scout night was THE night to attend a Musketeer game. We whole heartedly agree! This annual event draws in well over 1000 Boy Scouts from around Northwest Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. It's loud, it's crazy and it's FUN! Throw Jumpin' Jack into the mix and we're talkin' a rockin' good time!

WHO'S GOT THE POWER?

In case you haven't noticed, Sioux City sits atop the USHL Power Play Percentage with a 23.33%. Leading the charge on the man advantage is Stephane "Frenchie" Da Costa, who has 4 PPG (power play goals) and 6 PPA (power play assists), and team captain Michael Keenan who has 10 PPA. Throw this rockin' statistic in with the fact that Pump-N-Pak is turning up the winnings on the power play on selected nights, and you've got yet another reason to come to a Musketeer game! Last weekend, over 40 people saved 15 cents a gallon. People seated in the two lucky power play rows each received a coupon worth 10 cents off a gallon of gas. Throw in the 5 goals that the Musketeers scored to win, and that totaled 15 cents a gallon! Everyone else in the arena was a winner two, saving 5 cents a gallon by presenting their ticket stub at Pump-N-Pak that night and the following day. Pump-N-Pak always honors 1 penny off of a gallon of gas for every goal that the Musketeers score during a game. Just take your ticket stub to any of the three Siouxland Pump-N-Pak locations to receive your discount. Offer is only valid the night of each game and the day following each game. Who's got Christmas Music requests? Let's hear 'em! We've got three games before the Christmas Break, it's time to jam some Holiday Harmony! Who loves egg nog???

CHRISTMAS WITH THE MUSKETEERS

We've got several options for hosting Christmas Parties/Holiday Parties (whatever you wanna call them!) here at the Tyson Events Center this Holiday Season. Choose from one of two Party Zone areas on the West Concourse (20 minimum, 40 max), the Musketeer Suite/Skybox (16 max), or you can do a group rate of $8.50 per person on groups of 20-39, or $8.00 per person on groups of 40 or more. Catering packages are available through Distinctive Gourmet, our onsite catering service here at the Tyson Events Center. Call 712-252-2116 for details!

MUSKETEER BOOSTER CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY Monday December 15th @ 5:30p-8:00pm at the Bluff's Family Center, Hwy 75 S. in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa (Blue Building just south of Casey's and DQ near Sergeant Bluff Pool) 5:30p Social Hour ~ 6:30p Dinner ~ 7:00pm Entertainment Cost is $10 for adults & $5 for children under 12. Price includes catered dinner, special presentation by Musketeers Coaches and Players and new this year is special entertainment by a professional Hypnotist! Make your reservations at the MBC Stand in Sec-106. Payment is required at time of reservation.

RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH US!

Ah yes, the traditional New Year's Eve game is quickly approaching. What better way to ring in the New Year than by attending this traditional gathering of holiday hockey action! Good seats are still available, but you'd be well advised to get them early. This game sells out every year!
