Come Meet the FlashNovember 20, 2008 - NBA Development League (D-League) - Utah Flash Press Release
The Pinnacle Gym, which also serves as the Flash's main practice and training facility, is located at 1290 Sandhill Road in Orem, on the East side of I-15 at the University Parkway exit.
Flash ticket holders and fans are invited to share food and fun with Flash players, the Pinnacle Dancers and Flash Fox. Two Flash players are expected to be seated at each table and are looking forward to sharing some 5 Buck Pizza and Pepsi products with the fans. The evening affords Flash fans an opportunity to get to know the players up close and personal before the season opens on Nov. 28 on the road against the Austin Toros.
Coach Brad Jones will introduce each player individually and then invite all Flash Fan Kids in attendance to rush the court to meet, shake hands or slap a high five with the players. The players, Pinnacle Dancers and Flash Fox will all be available for photos and autographs throughout the evening.
The inflatables from the famous Flash Kids Zone, as well as the Seven-Up Pop-A-Shot and various prizes are also expected to add to the fun.
Season and group tickets remain on sale for what the NBA Development League has dubbed the "Season of Cheering" by calling 801-434-HOOP. Single game tickets are also available at all Utah County Bajio Mexican Grills, Smithstix outlets, the McKay Events Center box office or by going to Smithstix.com. Unclaimed Flash season ticket packets will also be available for pickup at the party.
The Flash home opener is slated for 7 p.m. MT on Dec. 1 against West Division rival Bakersfield.
