Justin Belanger added to Mooseheads Protected List

Halifax Mooseheads have added 17-year-old centre Justin Belanger to their protected list as a free agent signing, Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today.

The 6'00", 170 lb. Belanger, from Halifax, NS, is currently playing with the Halifax MacDonald's in the Nova Scotia Major Midget League, where he has recorded nine goals and five assists for 14 points in just eight games, ranking him third in the league's point's race just one point from the lead.

"We feel that Justin Belanger is a talented hockey player," Patenaude said. "We are very happy the he has decided to join the Mooseheads."
