Erie Otters News Release
JAMESTOWN, NY - Chris DeSousa scored twice and added an assist to lead the Niagara IceDogs to a 4-1 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena. Andrew Shaw and Victor Terreri also scored for the IceDogs. Niagara is 1-0 in the pre-season. Greg McKegg netted the lone Otters goal. Erie dropped to 0-1 in exhibition play. Niagara led 2-1 after one and 4-1 at the end of two. Shane Owen started for the Otters and allowed three goals. Mike Swick took over midway through the second and gave up one goal.
Tickets are also now on sale for the Otters lone home pre-season game against the Windsor Spitfires to be played this Wednesday (September 3rd) at the Tullio Arena at 7 p.m. Adults are $8 and children (12 and under) are $5. Tickets are available at the Civic Center Box Office, all Erie-area Ticketmaster locations or on-line at www.ottershockey.com.
Single-game tickets for all 34 Otters home regular season games, including the Otters home opener on Saturday, September 27th at 7 p.m. against the defending OHL Champion Kitchener Rangers, are available at the Civic Center Box Office, all Erie-area Ticketmaster locations or on-line at www.ottershockey.com.
