
RiverHawks activate Brooks, release Santos

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks announced Friday that they have activated shortstop Jono Brooks from the 14-day disabled list and released outfielder Nick Santos.
Brooks suffered a separated and partially torn left shoulder in a collision July 13 in Chillicothe. He was placed on the DL on July 18.
Santos hit .190 in eight games with Rockford, with no home runs and three RBI.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
