Lakeland Flying Tigers News Release
Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers will give away a Justin Verlander bobblehead to the first 1,200 paid fans on Friday, July 25. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. The Flying Tigers will take on the Sarasota Reds in a Western Division matchup beginning at 7:00 p.m. The bobblehead, sponsored by 97 Country WPCV, depicts Verlander in his windup wearing his old Lakeland Tigers uniform from when he played in Lakeland during the 2005 season and when he was a Florida State League All-Star.
Tickets are $6 for box seats or $5 for reserved seats. All seniors (55 and over) and children (14 and under) receive a $1 discount. Parking is free.
Tickets for Friday's game and for all remaining home games can be purchased in the "Tickets" section at www.LakelandFlyingTigers.com and at the Joker Marchant Stadium Box Office located at 2301 Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
