Tulsa Drillers News Release
The Tulsa Drillers game scheduled for Wednesday night with the Arkansas Travelers has been rained out. Rain covered the Tulsa area throughout the day Wednesday, and weather forecasts called for further moisture during the evening.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday night (May 8) at Drillers Stadium. Game one will begin at 6:05PM with game two starting approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings.
The Drillers will pitch Ching-Lung Lo (0-5, 9.39 ERA) in the first game and Jonathan George (0-0, 4.70 ERA) in game two. The Travelers will counter with Brok Butcher (2-0, 4.05 ERA) and Anthony Ortega (3-2, 4.50 ERA).
It will be a Thirsty Thursday with $1.00 Pepsi and $1.00 Miller Lite and choc beers. It will also be Halloween Night and Ryan Spilborghs T-Shirt Night.
