SARASOTA, Fla. -- The Indianapolis Indians and Norfolk Tides played to a 2-2 tie Saturday afternoon at Twins Lakes Park.
Three Tribe pitchers -- RHP Adam Bernero (2.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 SO), RHP Todd Redmond (2.0 IP,3 SO), and RHP Josh Hill (2.0 IP, 2 SO) -- worked two perfect innings apiece to begin the game.
Indianapolis CF Jorge Cortes went 1-for-2 and scored the game's first run in the sixth. 1B Jason Delaney brought Cortes home with an RBI double before CF Jonel Pacheco plated the Tribe's second run with an RBI single.
Norfolk tied the score with two runs in the seventh. 2B Todd Davidson led off with a double. DH Michael Rodriguez followed with a run-scoring single. LF Luis Montanez then came up with an RBI double.
