
Lions ink defensive back Zach Norton

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import defensive back Zach Norton has signed with the team.
Norton, a former University of Cincinnati Bearcat and teammate of current Lions LaVar Glover and Gino Guidugli was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2004. After a year on the Ravens' practice roster, he saw game action in November 2005 playing three games and recording one tackle. In 2006, Norton did not see game action and was subsequently picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs - he was released in May.
As a collegian, Norton finished his four-year career at Cincinnati with 10 interceptions and 161 return yards, fourth on the all-time Bearcats list.
